By entering the event premises, you give your permission to use your image in photography/film for any editorial Tātaki Auckland Unlimited use in perpetuity for the purpose of promoting Auckland as a destination to live, work, visit, study, invest, do business or hold events, in New Zealand and worldwide. By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use of these materials.
We, (Tātaki Auckland Unlimited, our related companies and people working on our behalf) use user-generated content (and various other content) to advertise a variety of things including products, brands, companies and places. We have reached out to you because we would like to be able to use the photograph, video or other content that we commented on with our reach out message. By commenting in response to our reach out message in the way that we have requested, you confirm that:
- You created and own copyright in the photograph, video or other content (Content) that has been commented on by us with a reach out message;
- You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual and worldwide licence to use the Content (and any derivative works) for any marketing or advertising purpose;
- You consent to us using your Content for any marketing or advertising purpose;
- We can give permission to others to use your Content for marketing or advertising;

- The winner of the Prize for the Competition (Prize Winner) will be drawn on 17/07/2021 and the Prize Winner will be announced and notified by social media, no later than 17:00.
- The Prize Winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries.
- If the Prize Winner does not contact Auckland Unlimited within 3 days of the announcement of the Prize Winner, or if for any reason a Prize Winner’s entrant details are incorrect, or a Prize Winner cannot be contacted within 3 days of the Prize draw Auckland Unlimited reserves the right to draw another winner.
- If the Prize Winner accepts the Prize, the Prize-win and terms and conditions acceptance will be documented in an email to that Prize Winner.
- If the Prize Winner declines the Prize, the Prize is immediately forfeited. Auckland Unlimited reserves the right to redraw the winner.
- The Prize will be awarded to the holder of the Facebook account from which that Prize entry was submitted. Auckland Unlimited takes no responsibility for disputes resulting from entries submitted using a Facebook account belonging to any other person.
- Auckland Unlimited’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
C. Prize
- The Prize consists of one family pass to Sea Life Kelly Tarltons.
- The Prize is subject to Sea Life Kelly Tarltons terms and conditions.
- The Prize additionally requires a valid form of identification.
- The Prize cannot be exchanged for cash, credit or service, is not transferable to any other person and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.
- If the Prize or part of the Prize becomes unavailable (for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to general travel restrictions, earthquakes, storms, landslides, fire, outbreaks of war, acts of terrorism or hostility, strikes, lock-outs, pandemics, protests, and acts of God), Auckland Unlimited reserves in its sole discretion, the right to either amend the Prize, including providing the Prize Winner with a substitute Prize, either in full or in part, at the same, higher or less value, or to cancel the Prize and/or the Competition in its entirety at any time.
D. Privacy
- Entry into this Competition is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- Once the Prize Winner has accepted their Prize and the associated terms and conditions, their First and Last Names [and image] may be promoted on, but not limited to, Auckland Unlimited Communications, Email Newsletters, Media and social media including Facebook, Instagram for the purposes of promoting the Prize [and/or Auckland Unlimited].
- In accordance with the Privacy Act 1993, Auckland Unlimited collects personal information. Auckland Unlimited holds personal information to conduct the Competition, notify the Prize Winner, verify the Prize Winner’s' identity and may be used by Auckland Unlimited, for future promotional activities. Individuals have the right to access and request correction of their personal information held Auckland Unlimited by calling (09) 365 0500. Failure to provide all requested personal information may result in the entry being invalid.

E. Exclusions
- Employees (and such employees' immediate families) of Auckland Unlimited, Auckland Council or any of the Auckland Council Controlled Organisations and agencies associated with the Competition or Prize; anyone not a resident of New Zealand at the time of the Prize draw and anyone under 18 years of age are not eligible to win the Prize.
- Auckland Unlimited reserves the right to exclude any entrant from participating in the Competition in its sole discretion. Auckland Unlimited also reserves the right to refuse to award the Prize to an entrant who is in breach of these terms and conditions, gained an unfair advantage in participating in the Competition or won the Prize by using fraudulent means.
- Auckland Unlimited is not liable for any loss, damage or injury (including and without limitation any indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person in connection with the Competition or Prize, except for any liability under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
- This Competition is in partnership between Sea Life Kelly Tarltons and Auckland Unlimited. By participating in this Competition, you acknowledge that Sea Life Kelly Tarltons holds no liability in respect of the organisation and management of this Competition.
- Auckland Unlimited reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions, and to modify, terminate or reschedule the Competition at any time, for any reason whatsoever, including in the event of a COVID-19 resurgence, initiation of the Alert Level System or best practice advice from the New Zealand Government, including if the Competition is not terminated or rescheduled to substitute the Prize for a Prize of the same, higher or lesser value.
- You must be an international student currently studying in Auckland to apply to join the “Get Into Nature” Programme.
- Those who are chosen to participate will be notified by email and may also be sent a text message.
- Students can only participate once.
- Students who are offered a place must respond within three days to accept this invitation or it may be given to another student.
- There are 30 spaces per day available for the “Get Into Nature” programme. If your preferred date is not available, you may be offered a place on another date.
- Auckland Unlimited – Study Auckland reserves the right to allocate some spaces for either programme to specific people for reasons other than the application details.
- By applying to join the “Get Into Nature” Programme, students are also registering with Study Auckland to receive information relevant to international students studying in Auckland. It is possible to unsubscribe from this list at any time.
- This experience is valued at $250 for the experience and is being offered free to a limited number of students during the trial phase. It is not redeemable for cash.
- If anyone has committed to attending but finds they cannot attend, they must notify Study Auckland immediately (minimum of 48 hours’ notice) so the place can be given to another student.
- Participants may not pass on their place to another student without contacting Study Auckland to ask permission to do so.
- Anyone who fails to give enough warning of cancellation or does not turn up on the day may be blacklisted and not be able to participate in any future Study Auckland events.
- Although this is a safe activity, there are always risks. Auckland Unlimited – Study Auckland and Got To Get Out accept no liability for injuries students sustain while attending this programme.
- You must be an international student currently studying in Auckland to apply to join the Rukuhia Programme.
- There are 40 places available on each of the two dates.
- Those who are chosen to participate will be notified by email and may also be sent a text message.
- Students who are offered a place must respond within three days to accept this invitation or it may be given to another student.
- Tātaki Auckland Unlimited – Study Auckland will select participants based on application details given, with the most weight given to the question of why they would like to join the programme.
- Auckland Unlimited – Study Auckland reserves the right to allocate some spaces to specific people for reasons other than the application details.
- By applying to join the Rukuhia Programme, students are also registering with Study Auckland to receive information relevant to international students studying in Auckland. It is possible to unsubscribe from this list at any time.
- This experience is valued at $250 for the day and is being offered free to a limited number of students during the trial phase. It is not redeemable for cash.
- If anyone has committed to attending but finds they cannot attend, they must notify Study Auckland immediately (minimum of 48 hours notice) so the place can be given to another student.
- Participants may not pass on their place to another student without contacting Study Auckland to ask permission to do so.
- Anyone who fails to give enough warning of cancellation or does not turn up on the day will be blacklisted and will not be able to participate in any future Study Auckland events.
- Photos may be taken during the day but not of the back wall of the meeting house.
- You must be an international student currently studying in Auckland to apply to join the Rugby Have a Go Programme.
- Those who are chosen to participate will be notified by email and may also be sent a text message.
- Students who are offered a place must respond within two days to accept this invitation or it may be given to another student.
- There are 400 spaces available for the Rugby Have a Go Programme. If more than 400 students apply, Auckland Unlimited – Study Auckland will select participants for the Rugby Have a Go Programme based on application details given, with the most weight given to the question of why they would like to join the programme.
- The Better Leaders Programme can only accept 25 students. Auckland Unlimited – Study Auckland will select participants for The Better Leaders Programme based on application details given, with the most weight given to the question of why they would like to join the programme.
- Auckland Unlimited – Study Auckland reserves the right to allocate some spaces for either programme to specific people for reasons other than the application details.
- By applying to join the Rugby Have a Go Programme or the Better Leaders Programme, students are also registering with Study Auckland to receive information relevant to international students studying in Auckland. It is possible to unsubscribe from this list at any time.
- This experience is valued at $100 for the two days and is being offered free to a limited number of students during the trial phase. It is not redeemable for cash.
- If anyone has committed to attending but finds they cannot attend, they must notify Study Auckland immediately (minimum of 48 hours’ notice) so the place can be given to another student.
- Participants may not pass on their place to another student without contacting Study Auckland to ask permission to do so.
- Anyone who fails to give enough warning of cancellation or does not turn up on the day may be blacklisted and not be able to participate in any future Study Auckland events.
- Although this is a safe, non-contact version of rugby, there are always risks with playing sport. Auckland Unlimited – Study Auckland and Auckland Rugby accept no liability for injuries students sustain while attending this programme.
