The Sculptureum is made up of three sculpture filled gardens, six indoor art galleries and The Miro Room function space which can host meetings and conferences of up to 80 people and cocktail functions for up to 150 people. Sculptureum offers the perfect landscape to host team building activities or unique pre/post conference experiences.
The Sculptureum experience takes around 2-3 hours to complete and has something for everyone. One minute you’re admiring a Picasso and just around the corner you’ll stumble upon a piece by an unnamed artist. The collection is that of Auckland based Barristers Anthony and Sandra Grant who wanted to share their passion and give everyone the opportunity to experience art in a different environment than a typical gallery or museum. There is just over 2km of beautifully manicured paths and while summer is the most colourful time of year to experience Sculptureum, each season reveals something new to admire.
To compliment the main attraction, guests are encouraged to dine at the on-site restaurant, Rothko. The menu is inspired by the sea and fertile land that surrounds the property. Much like the gardens, Rothko’s menu changes with each season to embody the fresh flavours of the region.
An art and food experience wouldn’t be complete without a glass of wine. The team at Sculptureum have crafted an Art Series and a Garden Series to ensure there is something for everyone. The main line up includes a Bordeaux Blend, Syrah, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris. The 2018 harvest saw the first pick of grapes for a Sculptureum rose - to be released early 2019.
